The Milwaukee Business Journal: Bouncing Back - Grand Geneva Sees Occupancy Increase as Industry Rebounds
The renovations at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa are paying off as the resort recently experienced a significant rebound in business over the past few months. Ed Svitak, director of sales and marketing, said that the biggest increase has been the resort's leisure traffic, which dropped off for most hotels during the economic downturn. "The trend toward more stay-cations has been very beneficial to us," Svitak said. "Instead of hopping on a plane and heading to Las Vegas, they [guests] are bringing the family here to spend the weekend. It is a bit more economical."

Naples Illustrated: Great Escapes
Located approximately 90 minutes north of Chicago, just over the Wisconsin-Illinois border, Lake Geneva is a rarity in today’s fast-paced world—an enclave that exists for the sake of simplicity.
