Ted Lorenzi Joins Marcus® Hotels & Resorts as Vice President of Engineering and Sustainability
Milwaukee, Wis., May 27, 2014. . . . . Marcus® Hotels & Resorts, a division of The Marcus Corporation (NYSE: MCS), today announced that Ted Lorenzi has been named vice president of engineering and sustainability. Lorenzi joins the company with over 30 years of hospitality experience in operational planning and corporate facility management roles. In his new role, Lorenzi will be responsible for the development, advancement and implementation of engineering, environmental and energy management strategies and sustainability programs throughout the Marcus Hotels & Resorts portfolio. Prior to joining Marcus Hotels & Resorts he served as senior director, engineering design and operations for Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group in Minneapolis, Minn. His responsibilities included overseeing new technical design standards, strategic planning, and the launch of the Radisson Blu brand in North America. Lorenzi held various engineering positions with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, prior to serving as chief engineer for the 2,019-room Hyatt Regency Chicago and senior director of engineering for the 800-room Hyatt Regency McCormick, Chicago. Thomas P. Riley Joins Marcus® Hotels & Resorts and MCS Capital LLC as Senior Vice President – Development

Riley has 22 years of experience in the lodging industry, including executive-level positions in acquisitions, development and finance. Marcus Hotels & Resorts Appoints Ed Carrella Corporate Director of Restaurants
Milwaukee, Wis., February 3, 2014. . . . .Marcus® Hotels & Resorts, a division of The Marcus Corporation (NYSE: MCS), today announced leadership changes at its Mason Street Grill restaurant in downtown Milwaukee, Wis. Ed Carrella, former general manager of Mason Street Grill, has been promoted to corporate director of restaurants for Marcus Hotels & Resorts. In his new position, he will oversee day-to-day operations of all food and beverage outlets throughout the company’s 18-hotel portfolio, with a focus on the popular ChopHouse and Miller Time Pub & Grill brands as well as Mason Street Grill in Milwaukee. In addition, he will assist in budgeting and menu conception. During his three years as general manager of Mason Street Grill, he was responsible for increasing revenues by 10% and increasing profits by 50%. Carrella was born and raised in Chicago, Ill., where his family owned and operated a south-side Italian pizzeria. Growing up in the restaurant industry, his career highlights include working for primary establishments in Chicago, including serving as general manager of Sullivan’s Steakhouse, assistant general manager of Grand Lux Café, director of restaurant operations at House of Blues and assistant general manager of Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises. “We are thrilled to promote Ed to corporate director of restaurants. Previously, he worked at T & J Hospitality Group in Tomah, Wis., where he was responsible for overseeing the food and beverage operations for Three Bears Lodge and the opening of two independent pizzerias, where he doubled sales in a 12-month period. Grimm has also served in management positions at Stir Crazy Fresh Asian Grill, Ruby Tuesday Restaurant and Papa Murphy’s Pizza. Cristina Gliatis most recently served as manager of Brisco County Wood Grill in Menomonee Falls, Wis., where she was responsible for overseeing marketing, sales, events and day-to-day management of a staff of 30. Rush Street into one of the first AC Hotels by Marriott in the U.S. with an anticipated opening in spring 2015. “We are excited to bring one of the first AC Hotels by Marriott in the U.S. to Chicago’s River North area, ” said Thomas F.
