Marcus Hotels & Resorts Names Paul Ohm General Manager of the Pfister® HotelMilwaukee, Wis., July 1, 2013. . . . . Marcus® Hotels & Resorts, a division of The Marcus Corporation (NYSE: MCS), today announced that Paul Ohm has been appointed general manager of the AAA Four-Diamond Pfister® Hotel in Milwaukee, Wis. Ohm has more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry and previously served as general manager of the Fairmont Newport Beach, a 450-room luxury hotel in southern California. Ohm will be responsible for overseeing the general operations of the 307-room hotel, as well as the upcoming renovations of the hotel’s 176 tower guest rooms slated to begin in fall 2013. Ohm joins Marcus Hotels & Resorts with a strong background in hospitality. He began his career with the Hyatt Regency Columbus in food and beverage, and served in various positions with Hyatt Hotels in locations including Chicago, San Francisco and Maui. In 2000, Ohm joined Starwood Hotels & Resorts as the director of food and beverage for the Kapalua Bay Hotel in Maui, Hawaii. In 2005, he took the role of director of operations for The Fairmont Washington D.C. hotel. Scott Shoenberger has been promoted to senior vice president – operations and acquisitions and Peggy Williams-Smith has been promoted to corporate vice president of food & beverage. Shoenberger will assume responsibility for transitioning the company’s new acquisitions and management contracts to its growing portfolio, while continuing to oversee the hotel operations of several Marcus Hotels’ properties.
