Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark in Lake Geneva
Just about an hour outside of Chicago, Lake Geneva’s Timber Ridge Lodge offers a perfect getaway for young families. The water park is designed for kids ten and under; the safe area has swings, slides and a mushroom waterfall for the littlest swimmers. The activity pool, best for ages seven to ten, has a rope-climb and water basketball. Ease along in the lazy river or get adventurous on two 30-foot water slides! Parents will appreciate the hot tubs and the option for child care if you need some time alone. Need more to do? Timber Ridge has golfing, skiing and a spa. If you don’t want to do a full overnight, Timber Ridge has a day rate starting at $109 that includes water park access and a suite for resting and eating from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
