Mason Street Grill Promotes Steve Mackey to General Manager

Mason Street Grill, part of the Marcus® Restaurant Group, today announced that Steve Mackey has been promoted to general manager. In his new role, Mackey will be responsible for overseeing all facets of the top-rated restaurant, driving menu innovations, service quality, talent development and guest relations.

Mackey began his career at Marcus Hotels & Resorts as the front office manager at The Pfister Hotel before being promoted to the director of rooms at the former InterContinental Milwaukee, now Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel. He then served as director of quality and training at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center before his most recent position as assistant general manager at Mason Street Grill. This vast experience has allowed him to gain extensive knowledge in the areas of guest satisfaction, restaurant management, training, human resources management, menu development, procurement, operations and more.
