Resorts spiff up for ski, snowboard season

At least one new high speed chairlift, more tubing lanes, expanded terrain parks, repainted lodges, new snow-making guns and new lodging will greet skiers, snowboarders and tubers when they hit the slopes at Wisconsin, Upper Peninsula, Illinois and Iowa ski resorts this winter – which, by the look of things last week, has arrived with a vengeance in central and northern parts of Wisconsin.
