Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel Celebrates Five Years of Artfully Stylish Hospitality

Saint Kate to commemorate milestone anniversary with unique offers and experiences throughout the month of June and beyond

Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel, an award-winning hotel owned and managed by Marcus Hotels & Resorts, unveiled today a month of celebrations to commemorate five artful years in Milwaukee. Drawing inspiration from Saint Catherine, the patron saint of artists, Saint Kate officially opened its doors on June 4, 2019, and quickly became known for the modern and artfully stylish experience it provides to both business and leisure guests. As one of the first hotels in the nation to broadly celebrate the arts in many different forms, Saint Kate is today recognized as Milwaukee’s most exciting hotel and a lively partner in growing the city’s extraordinary arts and entertainment scene.

“Whether you are here on a business trip, a getaway weekend or just stopping in for a drink at the Bar, Saint Kate brings people together to arouse their imaginations, encourage their curiosity, and feed their creativity,” said Dana Johnson, general manager of Saint Kate – The Arts Hotel. “We made a bold choice five years ago to bring a hospitality experience to Milwaukee unlike any other, and the response from locals, leisure and business travelers, and visiting groups has exceeded all expectations. From our associates to our artistic partners and our valued guests, thank you for an incredible five years!”

To celebrate the hotel’s anniversary, Saint Kate recognizes the many ways it is uniquely special – from art programming to guest rooms, food and drink experiences, music and more. All of Milwaukee, and all hotel guests, are invited to join in the celebration and engage with what inspires and moves them.

STAY

Now through the end of the year, Saint Kate will offer a special package with five of the hotel’s signature amenities. Guests can enjoy a split of champagne with fresh cotton candy from the comfort of their room, a miniature reproduction from Saint Kate’s Seed Collection or a one-of-a-kind work from Saint Kate’s Artist in Residence, their very own ukulele to take with them, as well as a bundle of guest-favorites including Eraser Soap and a candle with Saint Kate’s signature scent.

Saint Kate’s restaurants and bars, collectively elevating the dining experience to an art form, will offer several celebration specials throughout the month of June.

  • the Bar, the place to see and be seen, will have an extended happy hour until 5:55 p.m. Monday through Friday. It will also feature $5 domestic beer all month as well as a special anniversary cocktail – a Sparkling Cosmo – available only for the month-long celebration. As one of the only hotels in downtown Milwaukee to offer live music seven days a week, Saint Kate will spotlight its “favorite” musicians during Saint Kate Sounds at the Bar throughout the celebration.
  • Giggly, the hotel’s second floor bar offering champagne, global sparkling wines and a variety of cocktails, is bringing back a beloved specialty drink for a limited time. Guests can indulge in a Cotton Candy Flute as a special toast to Saint Kate’s impact on Milwaukee and beyond.
  • ARIA, Saint Kate’s signature restaurant, will offer its delicious baked goat cheese starter for $5 with the purchase of any entrée. Served with tomato jam and grilled ciabatta bread, the appetizer is the perfect start to a delectable meal.

In addition to these specials, be on the lookout for Kate’s Krew, Saint Kate’s very own “prize patrol,” as they will be roaming the streets of downtown Milwaukee and the nearby Theater District throughout June, offering Saint Kate branded swag and coupons to use at the hotel’s restaurants and bars.
