Lake Geneva Resort Launches Five New Seasonal Packages for Families and Couples

LAKE GENEVA, Wis., (September 20, 2017) – Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, the award-winning AAA Four-Diamond resort owned and managed by Marcus Hotels & Resorts, launches five new fall vacation packages for guests to enjoy the changing season in Lake Geneva. Just in time for pumpkins, Halloween and changing foliage, the seasonal offerings allow visitors to enjoy the beauty and nature of the 1,300 acre property. Whether guests are visiting with a friend or family or on a couple’s trip, the resort’s packages are bound to create an unforgettable experience. While visiting the quintessential lake community, guests can also explore other special happenings like the Grand Geneva Golf Classic Tournament and the Hugh Jass Fat Tire Bike Series.

Haunts and Hay – It is time to celebrate the scariest time of year. Grab a loved one and check out the annual Sleepy Hollow Haunted Hayride. Hayrides are on a first come, first serve basis and run Fridays and Saturdays from September 29 through October 28. Stay the night and receive two tickets to the Haunted Hayride, and enjoy access to the haunted bonfire with marshmallow roasting and spooky stories.

Amaze N Apples – Now through October 31, enjoy apple orchard season at your fall getaway at Grand Geneva, which includes access to Royal Oak Farm Orchard to enjoy the only apple tree maze in the country. The package includes overnight accommodations and four passes to the Royal Oak Farm apple tree maze.

Royal Oak Farm Orchard is the only orchard in the country with an apple tree maze where you can explore 1.5 miles of trails with nine varieties of apples. They also feature U-pick apples, pumpkins, fresh apple cider donuts, as well as an entertainment area for the whole family with train rides, carousel rides and hay rides. Royal Oak Farm Orchard is located in Harvard, Ill. just 20 minutes from the resort. Additional fees apply for other activities at the orchard.

Lake Geneva Shore Path – Soak in Lake Geneva’s dazzling autumn colors with a stroll along the historic Lake Geneva Shore Path. Learn the intricate past of the trail on a guided 45-minute hike with trolley or van transportation. The package is available until November 19.

Couple’s Night Out – Now through December 29, you and your special someone can enjoy a relaxing getaway at Grand Geneva. The package include a one-night stay, chocolate covered strawberries, a bottle of champagne, a $50 dining certificate, and a 50-minute couples massage at WELL Spa + Salon.

Only in Wisconsin – Start your getaway in true Wisconsin style and enjoy cheese curds and Spotted Cow beer upon arrival. Book the package, available now through December 29, and receive overnight accommodations of your choice.

Fall Special Events

Grand Geneva Golf Classic Tournament – Compete in Grand Geneva’s 18-hole Golf Classic Tournament on The Highlands course on October 8. Gather your foursome for a great day of golf and a chance to win one of many coveted prizes. Each golfer will receive a certificate for a complimentary round of golf for future use in the spring and will be entered into the Hole-in-One Challenge for a chance to win $10,000.
